Features

After increasing his wine knowledge in Marc Angeli's Domaine Ferme de la Sansonnière, Stèpahane Bernaudeau decides to create his own right next to that of his friend. There are just over 2 hectares in the Anjou-Saumur area (within the municipality of Martigné-Briand), in one of the largest wine-growing regions in France, the Loire Valley.

Its soils, conducted and worked according to the principles of biodynamics, with the utmost respect for what they are naturally led to express thanks to a variety of microclimates and environments influenced by the presence of the Anger river, are famous for the production of white wines.

Its wines, mirror of the terroir, are led to express its character even after several years: these are “Les Onglés” and the “Cuvée Les Nourissons” which take us back to a journey into the past through flavors and aromas with an ancient and genuine flavor.

Les Onglés by Domaine Bernaudeau is a white wine in which the imprint of the soil, of the varietal and of the man is found with a shocking precision, accompanied by a deep minerality. A champion Anjou, which by Stéphane's choice comes out as "Vin de France".

The wines of Stéphane Bernaudeau given the goodness and the very limited production volume are almost impossible to find. If a bottle of Les Onglés should pass by (or under your eyes on some wine list), know that it is the perfect time to drink it.
