Features:

This autochthonous variety dates back centuries in South Tyrol but today has been reduced to only 1.5 hectares of production. Nusserhof is one of only 3 growers of this thin-skinned, golden yellow rarity and is the largest of them. Like all the Nusserhof vines, the Blatterle lot is organically grown and harvested by hand; there is enough to produce around 40 hectoliters per year. The fruit is de-stemmed, fermented with native yeasts and delicately pressed. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. The name "B ... te ... e" is a sort of abbreviation of the name of the grape: Blatterle is not recognized by the Italian oenological authorities and the wine is classified as White Wine, so the variety cannot appear on the label. The same goes for the vintage, which is indicated in the fine print as a lot number
Note:

Live wine, in continuous evolution. Store away from sunlight, and never above 16 degrees ° C.
